Wanted to say thanks for all the insight and recommendations on my original thread. After a LOT of research pouring over what I can do with what I have collected over the years for this project this is the plan. Using the 413 truck block that has already been bored 30 over in its past and having it bored now to standard 426 bore. Having 915 heads done to include 1.74 exhaust valve. Using a '62' 413 inline 2/4bbl intake. 268/284 purple shaft cam. The CR issue was the real issue as every stock piston i could get a lead on would only give 9:1 at best...so, have a set made by JE Piston to get what i looking for (10.5:1). 68 barracuda/426 wedge...thats a lot A-body fun!
