Need advice..
Im putting a 1978 440 RV motor that had AC into my 70 dart,
I were just told that i am not gong to be able to use this pulley setup as i am removing the AC. The guy at 440 source said the setup from original car with AC wont work and i need entire (non ac setup)
Is there a way to use the pulleys i have now? im sure other have gone thru this already

I have a 4 belt pulley on the crank and the PS is also connected correctly from the original motor ( can i use the PS from the 440 on my 6cyl setup,.. just swap pumps?)

all i need to do is get the alternator hooked up and im ready to go

thanks fabo!

I have taken a/c big blocks and with stock pieces you can eliminate the idler set-up, lose the 4 groove crank pulley, have the alt, w/pump pulley, crank line up perfectly, so they won't fly off. Also use the 2 groove crank pulley for the p/s pump. I have the pieces on hand. The factory set-up uses 2 1/2" fan spacer, several spacers for alt, long bolts, adjusting arm for alt. PM me.
