That's a good intake. Purt near as good as the 71 340 intake.
Yes, we had thread on a 318 port factory TQ intake. I never found one though.
I've never in my life seen one in person or online, so I remain skeptical.

I dont believe any such thing existed. The "police" 4 barrel 318s simply had the 360 heads and intakes slapped on top. There was to my knowledge, NO small port TQ intake ever made. Unless it was some weird marine or mexican package deal.

I believe The US TQ car intakes were all large port. But we have a couple members who have had small port TQ intake. @AJ/FormS and @oldkimmer, both from Canada have had one. Maybe an export only intake. The first 318 TQ I could find was a 1974 export or 1988 US truck. Maybe Mexico or Australia.

In other words, no undue overhang, right? Sounds like 318 size ports for sure. Not that I would second guess you, because I know you know the difference. lol
