/ 6 Front Wheel Drive Delivery Truck- Motor Home?

I ran across an old delivery truck that had been burned but did notice the slant six with a strange front wheel drive driveline and side draft carb setup. What the heck is it? Sorry I don't have pics...

Sounds like a setup out of a Coronado motor home to me, at least the sidedraft carb arrangment.

Yup it's a clark cortez motorhome! If it has the sidedraft carb set up on it how much should I make the money order for?

It was in a fire... the carb is dripping off the manifold.... strange intake... it has a cover plate bolted over the normal carb location(great place to install a fogger nozzle). I'm guessing it's a late 60's truck. I'll see it again tomorrow and may get some numbers off the block if it isn't covered in rattle snakes.

The sidedraft carb setup is not as good for performance as the stock one barrel downdraft - its main point was to create clearance.

I've heard that the single sidedraft will give excellent fuel economy in a passenger car, though.

Ok I posted pics up above... I have no Idea what is salvageable from this drivetrain but if that 4 speed sycro transaxle is any good it would make a neat though somewhat heavy mid engine project..... The transaxle is supposed to weigh 300 lbs.
