I restored my good friends 1966 barracuda, we converted it from an automatic to a 4speed. In our search for a proper steering column, we found two at the same place both about the same condition, needing restored.
I restored one and put in his 66 Barracuda but when I did it I bought plenty of the new available parts to restore the other one.. I just got done with it..(But I have no car to put it in !
New Upper steering bearing . Cleaned the splines for the steering wheel chase the threads on top.. it comes with lots of new parts a new rear support rubber and plastic new plug for the wiring harness (it has a very nice horn pole that makes contact as you turn the wheel) has a beautiful Chrome turn signal wand, it's finished currently in urethane primer ready to scuff and shoot
I'm more than happy to paint it for you at no additional charge I am a body shop and you have to get a half a pint of base coat of the color that you want..(so I'm not responsible for your choice of color )
I will spray the base coat on the parts and clear coat them and assemble them no extra charge ..
I have not soldered the new plug into place because we may come apart to paint it or some body who is a do-it-yourselfer and only needs black could scuff this and shoot it with a black spray bomb and it would look perfectly great ...
but some of the odd colors like teal should probably be done professionally depending on the level of your car..

It comes with a new turn signal rocker arm.. it doesn't need one ...the one that's in it has been replaced recently and it's very supple, and does not need replacing. Comes with the firewall gaskets and the two panels with an O-ring that goes between them all Factory OEM
