1963 Dodge Dart Racecar:::
This is my 1963 Dodge Dart 2 dr Post car that i spent almost 2 years building from the ground up.. the car has been stripped down to bare metal,replaced any soft or rust spot and had lots of time making sure the car was RUSTFREE and STRAIGHT...the bracing behind the fenders on the front were completly rebuilt, the Gas filler hole was covered as well as the antenia hole.the rear had patch panels installed and the car was painted inside and out a Light Blue Metallic....Everything was removed inside the car except the factory crossmember, the firewall,floors,trunk,fenderwells and wheel wells in the rear.i installed 2x3 box tube framerails with a new crossmember with the hoop,12 point MS cage was welded in and certified to 8.5 with NHRA.. A Dana 60 rear out back with 4.30 spool and 35 spline axles and Ladderbars with coilover shocks..the Car also has a MAGNUM FORCE tubular K-Member up front with 4 wheel disc brakes and relocted master cylinder.Car also has 3/8 Alum Motor plate and mid plate to Hold in the 572ci INDY Maxx Motor..The interior is all alum with steel floorpans and steel Trans tunnel..the Factory Dash is still in the car.Hurst Pistol Grip quater stick with button,.the car sits on Weld superlites with 31x14x15 out back and 26x4x15 out front..5 gallon fuel cell with a Barry Grant(BG 400) fuel system in the car..ED QUAY custom rear spoiler was built for the car with 4 strut rods.. the Car has all new Badges as well as a new front chrome bumper and new headlight bezels,New front windsheild with new rubbers and locks,New rear tail lights, the grille is in excellent condition and i havd a 2nd one that can also go with the car.. i painted one black and was going to chrome the other..
