Broke a tab off off 64 cuda grill center section. Are they aluminum or some pot metal alloy? Can they be MIG or TIG welded? Any other ideas on repairs?

I believe they are cast aluminum and not easy to fix!! Thats probably why you see so many cracked or broken and not fixed!! Geof
