hi guys and gals, I am the proud father of a 64 valiant convertible that needs a lot of TLC. car seems fairly solid. I'm working through most of the issues. trying to repair the gas and temp gauge assemblies. I'm told the voltage limiter is the problem that's built into the gas gauge. although the temp gauge randomly works for short periods of time. I am a controls tech and can't seem to find good diagrams, only pictorials. what are the set of points in the gas gauge doing and does the coil wrapped around them act as a resistor dropping the voltage to 5v?
