I'm in the process of replacing the driver side quarter glass in my 65 Barracuda. It doesn't roll up and down well so also cleaning things up and applying new grease. I'm a bit confused about the proper path of travel. The tray that bolts onto the glass seems like it should travel up and down aligned with the glass "track"...but my tray travels along the outside of the track. This might be a big ask, but wondering if anyone has, or knows where to find, a video that shows the full travel of the quarter window up and down? I have the 65 service manual but it's pretty slim on details regarding the quarter regulator and glass guide "track".

I have taken some photos to show some of the issues...in all pics, the quarter window bracket is in the position for unbolting the glass. I don't have a reference for a correct working regulator since the one on the other side of the car is broken. The FSM sketches are really no help on this...it only includes details on how to remove/install the regulators and the glass. What makes sense to me is that the glass bracket should ride inside of the rear track and instead, it rides along the side of the track towards the outside of the car. It seems like the regulator arm roller in the rear of the glass bracket should not be so far back that it binds on the track as seen in the pics. Furthermore, the regulator arms seem like they should be straight, except for a slight "s" curve at the regulator itself. But again, I have no reference for how it "should" work through it's full travel from window up to window down. I'm to the point where I might explore removable quarter window delete panels like some racers use. Right now the quarter glass is out on both sides until I can resolve the regulator issues...which means I also check the weather channel closely before taking the car out! lol

Got the regulators out...lol...I'm positive they shouldn't look like this. Surprising that all the rollers and gear teeth are good, so hopefully a good cleaning, gobs of white lithium grease, and some heat and bending will make it all good.
