I have a '66 Valiant 100 with an original 4 speed. When I bought the car it had an aftermarket carpet in it.According to the original literature the Valiant 100 came with a rubber floor mat instead of carpet. My big question is has anyone ever SEEN an original '66 4 speed car with a factory installed rubber mat? I have the broadcast sheet from this car but I don't see any reference to carpet or floormat.Any suggestions on how to know for sure what it came with? Thanks! Rod.

Ooo, Rubber mat? I would go for that. Never seen it or heard of one though.

Thread resurrection.
So many people want rubber mat instead of carpet in A and B bodies.
I was fortunate to find the rubber imitation carpet for two cars in the junk yard years ago. I top coated it with polyurethane sealant for a black rubber mat look.
There is Dynadeck but it isn't formed. Who wants to cut and stitch stuff?
Hellllloooooo manufacturers.
