Putting on those 3 pot metal mouldings across my lower rear window,
took them off 22 years ago, just getting around to putting them back on.

the centre one with the fish logo has a big blob of rubber on back of it.
mine is petrified hard.

has anyone found a satisfactory item to replace it please?

I assume that the rubber is meant to keep water from going uner the moulding ?
maybe some flat black foam rubber about 3/8 thick cut to shape?

Anyone tried different?

Thanks for any advice
Gary

I don’t know of another source for the original shape piece, but I think a piece of butyl tape may do it. I think it’s a rattle bumper, to keep the trim from chattering against the window, in which case the one you have would do the job. But I could be wrong about that.
