Hi ,I,m trying to put fenderwell headers on my 66 273 valiant, they are brand new and are the ones that dump under the car instead of in the fenderwell.I'm confused on how and where to cut the hole without making it look like a disaster .I'm also trying not to destroy the factory a/c ...thanks in advance ...Joe B.

What brand are the headers? When I put some on my '64, many years ago, they came with instructions & a template to mark the fenders so you would know what size hole to cut. If you can, check with the manufacturer for instructions. If you find a template, be careful. Somebody else here on the forum cut the holes their template indicated & they were about twice as big as actually needed.

As 64 Cuda said, there should be a template with the headers, but the size of the hole required is usually much smaller than the template. Cut only as much as you need for clearance. Have a look under the Exhaust forum and right at the top you'll find a great pictorial about putting a set of fenderwells on an early A body.
Oh, and pardon my manners, I see this is your first post on the board. Welcome.
