looks like somebody took a 2bbl bracket and bent the clamp vertical and then added an extension bracket to it, nothing factory about this one.

Wrong, it is factory, The only non factory is the vertical piece. The way I got it. Bought it here but am not using it!

The true 4 bbl bracket has the clamp about 1 1/2" forward of the 2 bbl position...

This is a 67 2bbl with a 67 4bbl, you can see it is longer and the rectangular hole is not distorted. In looking for an original 273-4 bracket I ended up with a bunch of 340 brackets, those are all taller as the intake is taller on a 340 than a 273. Once I got a 273-4 I sold all the 340 ones so no pictures.

Don't get me wrong, you bracket will work fine for somebody looking for a bracket, but is isn't an original 4-bbl bracket, 273, 340 or other.
