I have a 67 barracuda. The windshield & rear window plastic trim is missing. I was thinking since it is so expensive i just might go with a black rubber rope. Has anyone done this ? Where did you get it ? What size did you use ? Thanks

Check with DMT, a vendor here. I believe he has an inexpensive chrome lock strip that isn't 100% correct but may work for you. It's far better than an empty void.
ok thanks i was just going to find a rubber rope that they use on some cars.
