I've decided to sell my AMX to be able to finish my Dakota. The car is pretty well known and is very well sorted out and low maintenance. The car has been cert. at 8.50 but will need to be recertified. On gasoline in bad weather it runs low 5.90's in the 1/8. It has been 1.25 at sixty 5.79 and 116.6 mph in 500' air on gasoline. 9.28 @ 141 mph in the 1/4 on gasoline. It runs 1.22 @ 60 and 5.74 @ 116.5 mph on alcohol. I have two APD 4150 style carbs each one is 1040 cfm. One gasoline one alcohol. Has a magna 500 fuel pump and an10 feed line. You can use gasoline or alcohol and all you have to do is change the carb. It has the high end Star vacuum pump. The engine has almost 150 passes on it. It has a stock block 421" SBM engine 4.03 bore 4.125 stroke. The pistons are flat tops. The compression is 11.2 to one. It has total seal rings the top ring is stainless. Cometic head gaskets. Bloomer heads with stainless valves. Super Victor intake port matched , but not ported. Comp solid roller lifters, Crower solid roller cam part# 31409. comp star 6.200 rods. Mahle HP rod and main bearings. Dura Bond cam bearings. Kevco oil pan. It has a nitrous express small plate system. The engine has been sprayed a total of about 5 seconds. We use it if it spins the tires in first gear, we bump the 02 in high gear to make up the et. It has Hughes 1.6 rocker arms. 17/8" with 3.5" collectors custom headers. Has a big trans cooler and a trans temp gauge. We double enter most all races and never stop at the trailer on the second pass. 16 volt lithium battery and a Power Master 16 volt alt. Has a large aluminum radiator and a Moroso electric water pump . The car weighs 2670lbs without driver. light weight race disk brakes front and rear. Double adjustable coil overs front and rear. Digital Delay shift timer can shift by rpm or time. Set up to footbrake or top bulb with the transbrake. MSD 7al-3 ignition. K&R delay box and dial-in boards. B&M Pro Ratchet shifter with Shiftnoid HD shift solenoid. 9" ford rear, 4.88 gears, LW spool 40 spline axles 5/8" studs in the rear. Chrome Moly drive shaft. TF904 transmission Griner 1st or 2nd gear leave brake, deep pan, 2.45 first gear, hardened Pro Trans input and output shafts. Filled with A&A 20w type f fluid. Trans was done by Keith Long at 727 specialist. Has a Coan 8" converter with their billet stator. As of today 7-10-25 the trans and the converter has zero runs. It's the perfect bracket or 6.0 index car. The only thing I would change is the wiring. It works flawlessly and gives no trouble. But it doesn't look good. Has a steel roof and quarters and front fenders. Has Lexan windows, fiberglass doors, bumpers, two fiberglass hoods. I probably left some out. I live in Tuscaloosa. Al. I was going to ask 30k but I'll take 25k. Also going with the sale is a complete new back up ignition system, and a TF727 with a Turbo-Action trans brake, Billet drum and a 8" Dynamic converter and a back up Pro Systems fuel pump. The trans and converter has about 35 passes on it.

You left out the most important. What Block, heads? No engine compartment pictures? Header tube Diameter? Look small.
Please read the add everything you requested is in the ad except the under hood pics. I will have to get some of those.

Up date, I've decided to be more flexible on pricing and I'd be open to a trade for a really nice small block A or E body street car
