68 Cuda rear trunk lid moldings

Anyone here using reproduction trunk lid moldings on their 68 Cuda. If yes, will the OEM clips work with them?

There very impressve, but also very expensive, there are made with a thicker gauge of metal, I hope the clips can support the weight, honestly if you were to hit someone upside the head with one of these you would knock them out.

The original 68 clips aren't spring loaded. Since they insert and slide down the trim in to position I am sure they are strong enough to handle the weight if they fit with the thicker metal. Hey that is the question you asked......
