ok guys first swap ive done and having no luck, my problem is the rod going from the z-bar to the fork is on a super weird angle and isnt straight and wont compress the ford far enough i tried extending the rod and no luck, anyone ever run into problems? not sure exactly what bellhousing i have. I think its possible the pivot bracket might be the wrong one but dont want to start throwing parts at it if thats not the reason

Yes something isn't right here either the wrong Zee bar the wrong bracket or both. I would look on the Brewers website to see what you should have and make sure it Compares correctly. And or give them a call.
Also once you get this running right you will not regret the decision to do so..

the length on the z bar going off brewers seems right

I remember having the wrong bracket coming off of the transmission bellhousing and making my geometry off when I first put mine in. It looks like it's not down far enough you know to get the geometry straight. Again the combination of Parts all have to be exactly correct.

How close to "straight across in any view" is your Z?
Is your fork on the pivot completely?
Are the release bearing clips on both fork tips or did one possibly miss and the other on too far?

its hard to tell from this pic but it is kinda pointed back and the ball studd is not all the way in either, but it does seem leveled across not slanted down or anything

From this last pic, it looks like the Zbar slants up on the engine side. In the first picture it looks like the clutch rod is way to high at the Z bar. If you are sure you have the right Z bar, I'm betting you have the wrong ball stud plate on the trans.

This link is the correct one for the 10.5 OD trans/bell in an A body. I had to buy one for my car. See if you can compare yours to the picture.

Best,

C

thanks just ordered a ball stud plate! hopefully that puts me in the right direction thanks guys

..............
Looks like you missed the bearing center grove for that Z-bar clip as I can see that pedal rod shifted to the passenger side.
