Have you measured to make sure that's what you need? I ask cause I did a magnum head swap and 7.65" were a too long. Ended up using 7.55". I know many people quote that you need 7.65" rods but if the heads and/or block have been milled any it changes things. In my case just the block was milled down to zero deck the pistons. The heads were new

Hi, no I haven't measured I was just going by what other people said I needed. The block and heads have no machine work and I'll be using felpro 1008 head gaskets. I probably should get one of the pushrod measure things and make sure when I swap the magnum heads on. The 20 bucks for one will probably save me some hassle

I agree. You might be ok with 7.65" rods since everything is stock dimensions but you never know. If you're running a solid lifter cam things are touchier to. A hydraulic is more forgiving.

I've got a brand new set of Elgin hollow push rods and Mopar hydraulic lifters for a mag head swap. I want to sell as a package. Let me know if interested.

Nick
