71 dart with a large shaft power gear box help.

Hello. I'm helping a friend get his 71 Dart on the road, he installed a large shaft power steering gear box In the car and now after figuring out we needed a later style pitman arm to fit the 1 1/4" sector shaft we soon realized it points down instead of coming up from under the center link. Is there a pitman arm that will work for this or does he need to swap out the center link and idler arm from a later dart as well? Thanks for any help!

Ya gotta swap it out - unfortunately.

Oooo ouch. Well that's good to know Professor thank you for that link. Guess we'll see what what will be cheaper to do at this point.

Firm Feel's stuff is high quality, but I know what you're saying.
Although, compare that cost to getting a new idler, pitman, and centerlink; or a different steering box- because those are your options. Plus the time and effort swapping it over..
