71 Demon 340 Hood Scoop Emblems

Are the 340 hood scoop emblems correct on a 71 Demon with dual hood scoops, and the blacked out hood treatment? I see a lot of restored 340 Demons without them. Was it an option? Thanks Warren

Scoops should be blank. The 340 decals/badges were mounted on the front fender instead.

I'm pretty sure DemonDave is right..........Lots of guys have put the 340 emblems on the scoop for some added bling, but it belongs on the fender.......don't think the factory ever put one on the scoops. 8)

I am not sure. I do believe that these are smaller than the ones you speak of.
