71 Demon hood experts needed

Which one of these hood emblems is correct for the 71 Demon? Also, should it have pins on the back? If so , can someone tell me how many inches from the right edge it should be? Thankyou

My Demon has the emblem on the right. I'm the original owner and that's what is on mine. They are not held on with pins. Since they are off the car I don't know the measurement part of your question. sorry about that.

The left one is for 1972 and up

The hood pin question is easy, open the hood on each side of core support , right by the front of each fender there's either a hole or dimple(for non- hood pin cars) exactly where the pin goes
