71 Demon- Remove Fuel Sending Unit

The Fuel Sending Unit needs to be replaced on the 71 Demon. I do not have the Fuel Sending Unit Locknut Removal Tool. I tried just tapping it out, but it does not want to move. I looked for a Remoavl Tool on the Web and only found one on Jims Auto Parts.

Is there any other place tp purchase one. Or just I just tap harder on the nut until it finally rotates ??

I've always just hit the tabs with a screwdriver or brass cheisel. Never had any issues..

Sprat it down with some PB blaster and then just hit it with a screw driver or brass punch like Goody said.....you'll have to whack it pretty good to get it to budge but she will come off.

Just make sure you're tapping the tabs in the correct direction! Counterclockwise!
