[Found!] 727 Lower/Rear Clutch Drum - 4-Disc Wanted

I'm looking for a low/rear clutch drum (direct drive) for a small block 727 trans. 4-disc clutch drum. Please PM me if you have one available for sale.

The rear drum is 4 disc in all 727s. Do u want the front drum as they come in 3 4. Or 5 disc. Do u want the 1 with the input shaft or w/o. Kim.

Someone apparently someone put a rear 3-clutch drum in this 727 tans. The trans has a 4-clutch front drum. It appears that I will require the 4-clutch rear drum with the input shaft.

Hey Vinny, I’ve never seen a 3 clutch rear drum unless it is from a slant 6 727? U may be able to machine down the pressure plate to get a other clutch in there. I do have lots of drums if u can’t find 1 any closer. Kim

Thanks! I will reconfirm tomorrow. One of the clutch was heavily burned. I will follow up tomorrow and let you know.

Update: apparently there was a pressure plate that had a deeper lip that prevented the fourth clutch. Now I’m on the look out for untouched valve body assembly. Apparently, someone made this trans into a manual valve body setup.
