Located in Lords Valley, PA 18428 (zip will show Hawley as town).
Car is a shell only parts remaining on it are rear glass and L/door.
Sitting on home made stands with wheels.
Have all body parts + extra R/Fender.
Needs windshield.
I've owned it since 1980, other than 5 or 6 years. Sold to Navy buddy in 86 and bought back in 90 or 91.
Odometer and PA title (in my name) have 44,400 +/- miles.
Original engine long gone before I purchased it with a 360 LA, 4 spd.
Outside of the floor (have full AMD floor) the car is solid = front & rear rails, rockers, trunk pan & eng compartment.
White with black side stripes, 340 callouts, black interior, bench seat car. Originally was a 3 spd standard trans, power steering & brakes car.
Is a true H code car.
While my friend had it, for some reason, he decided to rebuild the perfectly running engine? I did drive it once and it ran pretty good. Wasn't running when I got it back. He told me it was bored 30 over, 10.5:1 pistons, 2.02 intake valves, crank 10/10, purple stick & lifters/springs, Weiand intake. Not sure what happened to engine but when I tore it down there was fine metal shavings in the pan. Oil pump (Melling I believe) was scarred. Bearings weren't scarred but worn way too much for rebuilt with less than 1,000 miles, still had/had paint marks on valve springs. Crank, cylinders, pistons and cam & lifters look good. My guess is when he (and a Chevy guy) built it they didn't clean the block and machine shop particles remained. My plan was to see if crank could be polished, hone cylinders, new rings, bearings and pump.
At 66 and planning to move west where my daughter, new granddaughter and husband are, I'm faced with the reality that the car needs to go to someone that can finish it.
Realistically there's probably 90% or more parts to get it going along with a good deal of metal work.
A-833 4 speed, Hurst inline v-gate shifter, 8¾ 3.54 sure grip from a 70 Duster, 2 sets of leaf springs, way to much to list.
$3,000 obo. Everything goes at once, will not part out, don't ask.
Will need flat trailer and pickup or van to take everything.
I'm going to try to include the 82 pictures I took this past June, but we'll see how that goes. Can only include 10 pictures, not sure which will load?
Private message me if interested and we can talk.
