I am looking for a front bumper for my 73 duster. I have found a guy with a 74 one. Will it fit my 73 or are they different?
73 and 74 duster front bumper....the same?

But only the bumper itself all the bracing/brackets are different

Bolt holes are a different location from 73 to 74 front bumper.

Nope 73-74 are same and 75-76 have the outer mounting holes spaced farther out.
Darts are the same way...

I believe it's "yes & no"! 1973 and 1974 Duster bumpers will interchange as both use standard bumper brackets. However, I believe that they started using the "shock absorber" brackets in '74 on Valiants and Customs! Dusters went to the "shock absorber" brackets in 1975.
The easiest way is to have pice of the carriage bolt pattern on the front to compare what you need to what someone has.

I have a fiberglass bumper, but would really rather have a decent chrome bumper. These are such a pain to find for some reason.
i think 74 bumpers are a little wider than 73 to accommodate for the plastic fillers.when i took the filler crap outta my 74 the bumper stuck way out on the sides....and i moved it in close like a 73.
