1973 Plymouth Duster 340 Tribute For Sale
Shipping from Watkins Glen NY
Price: $10995
Payment Methods Accepted: Cash at pickup
This car recently underwent a two year restoration. It was bought from the estate of the previous owner. When purchased it still had its original paint and the dash board still retains its original AM radio. There is an AM/FM CD player mounted under the dash with rear 6X9 speakers. I have the Original build sheet in very good condition. This Duster started life as a six cylinder car and has been converted to a 340 with proper V8 parts. It has a 1973 340 engine with a new manual choke Edelbrock carburetor and electronic ignition. The engine has headers, a new dual exhaust system with turbo mufflers and chrome tips. It has factory manual disk brakes and power steering. It now has a 727 torqueflite transmission with shift kit and 8.25 open rear end. The front suspension has been rebuilt with all new bushings, tie rod ends and ball joints. The master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders and brake lines have all been replaced. New shocks front and rear, new super stock rear springs. It has Cop Car 15X7 Wheels, vented hub caps and new TA Radial tires. During the restoration it had new quarter panels, trunk extensions, one NOS front fender and one good used fender installed. The underside of the car was cleaned and painted black during rebuild. Many hours were spent block sanding the body prior to the repaint. All original factory badges were removed and the holes filled. It was Originally Mist Green but was repainted with 1970 Plymouth color sublime green. The paint is very good with a few minor imperfections. 1973 340 side and rear stripes were also added. The car runs and drives very well. It goes straight down the road. This is a great cruise night car and gets lots of positive attention.
The interior is good condition with new carpet. There is a small hole in the original headliner about the size of a golf ball above the passenger side rear window. The driver side of the front seat has just started to split. The chrome on the bumpers show some pitting and could use rechroming or replacement.
