8 3/4 gaskets

fel pro offers 2 diff gaskets for the 8 3/4.one book says is steel and one says foam.using green bearings which gasket to use and where..is there a schematic somewhere that shows gasket placement ..thanks..j

Foam gasket goes between axle retaining plate and brake backing plate (called the outer gasket). The steel shim gasket goes between the axle housing end and the backing plate.
