You may already know this but i just widened the holes on my 7.25 plates and used some washers under the u bolt nuts and it works great. They may be a little cheaper for ya. I think the 7.25 has 2.5 inch tubes so 1/4 inch on each hole will do it.
 

I have a real nice set that I just had powder coated.
