Here’s a link to my ad on Marketplace: 1970 Dodge Dart

[ EDIT / copied & pasted from my ad on FB ] :

I bought this car as a ‘one owner’ car in 2007. Factory v8 car, which I upgraded from the 318 to a 360 c.i.d.This is an A- body MOPAR She runs like a top and shifts perfectly. The engine is a 360 “roller cam” engine (1991 LA block, which has a similar piston diameter as the 318, but with a longer stroke) and has just over 40k miles since remanufacture. (Good torquey engine) The transmission is the A904 Torqueflite automatic fitted with a PTC Performance torque converter. It has a Street Demon 625 CFM carburetor (fed with an electric fuel pump), Weiand “Action Plus” intake manifold, authentic MOPAR HP 340 cast iron exhaust manifolds (rare!) with 2 1/2” dual exhaust, Skip White HEI electronic ignition, LOKAR throttle cable, & LOKAR shift cable linkage. The factory 8 3/4 rear (open) is quiet. Has a Helwig HD anti-sway bar in the rear.

The interior is in excellent condition (with only one tiny blemish in the headliner) with new factory carpet, and a newly upholstered front seat which matches the factory color & pattern perfectly. The floors are near perfect under the carpet, the trunk has minor surface rust.

This car was a factory vinyl top (which was removed by previous owner) and has a tiny, manageable area of rust as a result. Easy repair. There are also two tiny areas of rust on the passenger side, just behind the wheel openings. The primered areas were on the car when I bought it 16 year’s ago. Previous owner stated that he had some professional body work done. The car is very solid everywhere.

The hood is factory correct for a set of the functional 340 hood scoops (and has the reinforced areas for the cut-outs exclusive to the 1970 year “Dart 340 Swinger”) which come with the car. The ‘under hood’ restoration and paint work is complete. The interior is *mostly* complete. All that’s left is the exterior paint.

Included with the car is a boatload of parts, some new, some hard to find, but all specific items for the car. Going on memory, here’s my list:

Sub-frame connectors NIB
Performance oversized torsion bars (clocked for performance with a lower stance)
Sure Grip for the 8 3/4 third member, VGC
Aluminum radiator VGC
Dual hood scoops (OEM, Exclusive to the 1970 340 Swinger, along with a pair of NOS “340” emblems, very hard to find)
All of the body side moldings (6)
Fender well moldings (4)
Body / trim paint gasket set NIB
New front & rear window rubbers NIB
All of the appropriate badges, including the hood, trunk, quarter panels and scoops.
Spare instrument panel (untested)
Spare factory radio (untested)
Spare hood VGC
Spare grill VGC
Factory jack / lug wrench
Set of Rallye wheels VGC, center caps

Plus more...Build sheet and clean title in my name

As much as I’ve enjoyed this car, my interests have changed somewhat, and I’m ready to part with it. Only a paint job away from a great Mopar classic. Drive her as is and enjoy the nostalgia, or paint it to complete this awesome, rare, solid 1970 Dodge Dart “Swinger 340” clone.$9,999 firm as described. If this ad is up the car is available. I will not respond to “Is this still available”

Tastefully built with reliability and mild performance in mind. Paint and body would complete the restoration.

I’m the second owner, and I’ve had the car for 17 years. I still enjoy it but my interests have changed. Located in Tillamook Oregon, about 1.5 hours west of Portland

I went to your marketplace ad and you said that it's a roller 360 and that it has the same bore size as the 318, this is in correct as the 318 has a bore size of 3.910" and the 360 has a bore size of 4.000". The 360 also has a longer stroke as you said.

Sorry guys, I thought the link would work / suffice. I’ll edit my post with the missing info. Thanks for all your interest. I’m torn about selling it though! Oddly not a single person has come to look at it yet. I think it’s because of my semi remote location; Tillamook, about 1.5 hours west of Portland.

DONE.. ORIGINAL POST HAS BEEN EDITED

Here’s a few pics of the car before I did any restoration. It’s very solid. I removed the carpet (now has oem style molded carpet).. I removed the 318 to restore the engine bay (now has the 360 and professionally painted)

New paint in engine bay. Engine removed from the ’91 Dodge pickup (I removed all of the serpentine belt and brackets, fuel injection, etc and put all of the period correct parts back on) The the engine out of the truck had 4x,*** miles on reman and running excellent.

Some interior pics and trunk pics. Also a pic of the pinhole in the center of the roof due to the vinyl roof. The headliner is near perfect with only a 1” tear in the rear seat area. Carpet is fresh and clean.
