Greetings Fabo! I finally got my car running <Hurrah!> but now am attending details. I ordered a Transmission kick down cable kit from Bouchillon Performance Engineering but the adapter plate-to-carb doesn't quite mesh!!
The bolt attaching holes are not the same size and about 1/8" off in addition. Also the carb has an offset that I guess could be overcome w/washers/spacers..
But do y'all see any problem if I "drill" holes in the bracket attached to carb and affix transmission cable bracket as shown in picture?
The simulated set up pretty much lines straight to "peg" at bottom of carb throttle lever, and utilizing the slots in the trans. cable bracket, I still could have my adjustment.
Doesn't appear there would be any interference or binding either.
Please correct me in the errors of my thinking!
What say ye?
Thanks Mopar aficionados!
