A B E body shackle lengths???

Any one know what the stock lengths are for the three deferent shackles?

every one i have used (66-77) has been the same shackle with different bushings.

Makes sense. I wondered why they listed deferent ones doe the body types. I just figured the were deferent lengths. Never thought about the bushings!

Well looks like they are deferent. Not much but deferent. Pulled a set off of my buddies stock 1972 cuda to check. Stock A-body is 3.5in long. Stock E-body is 4in long. So half an inch. Not much but enough that I am going tom change over to E-body shackles for that little extra.

Oh and both have the same bushings.

Still have no idea what B-body hight is. I may try to check a charger that will be at a show I am going to this weakened.

yea the out side dia is like a 1/4 more for the B bodies...
