A good friend of mine from years past may have survived disaster today!

This was on the news here today, Prayes sent out Rick, I hope we hear some posative news tomorrow

I just watched the local 11pm DC news online, and my friend, Scott Graeves, was indeed the pilot. I'm so thankful for his family that he survived. I'm going to try and get in touch at some point, as I haven't spoken with him in close to thirty years when I moved to So. Florida. He is one of the most pleasant/even tempered/generous people you would ever meet. I actually worked with him on a Total Performance T-Bucket he did in the mid 80's.

Forgive me for being long winded and I know this is only personal to me.

I am so glad he made it threw this Rick, now don't forget to get in touch, I know
what you mean not seeing old good friends in many years.. I need to do the same :color:

Thank you for understanding and posting Mike!

I've probably got close to a dozen people that I grew up with and went thru just about everything you could as kids/teens. Sadly we grew up, started families, and basically moved on with our own lives.

This crash kinda hit home at this point because I was just thinking of two best friends that had a birthday on Oct 16th & one that's today...

It's a very cool thing , that they are now doing with some small planes. Survival Chutes. I hope they get expanded to other small plane models. So glad that your friend and his passenger survived.
