A Pleasant Surprise

Ive been searching for a nice grill and headlight bezels for my 66 Dart. About 2 months ago I started contacting anyone that had a Dart for sale on craigslist asking if they had any extra parts or would consider selling the grill or headlight bezels. Finally I found someone who would sell the grill and bezels but had no pics. He described them as ok and ask for $100 for all 3 parts including shipping. His donor is a station wagon so no rear tailights, anyway I decided to roll the dice and I sent him a postal money order. Well today I got home from a weekend away to find the box of parts on the front porch. I opened up the box to find an almost perfect grill as far a straightness and 2 headlight bezels that are in very nice shape. All of these will need to be re anodized after polishing but should turn out very nice. But it didnt stop there, he also included the front hood trim and "DODGE" letters and then threw in the 66 Dart owners manual.
I came inside so happy and sent him a thank you email. I also told him I was so happy with his parts that I would send him an extra $50 money order. I couldnt be happier!

i dont know but the manual might be worth $50. ? i have about 15-20 factory manuals. the only one close to me is a 67 dart charger. when my dad bought a new 66 charger he all so got the supplement for the charger. but i dont know where it is now days.
