I am curious. I have several rad's for 1968 Dodge Dart SL-6. Each has a different fitting profile for the A/T cooler lines. Does anybody know what A/T port location spec's should be on a 1968 Dodge Dart rad with p/n 2898023?
My curiosity stems from buying a new stainless steel of a/t lines from Classic Tube many years ago. The front connections don't line up w/ a rad from 1969 (p/n 2849073) and way out of wack with a Feeders p/n 4-354. Granted no bigger and I will "gently" bend to "accommodate". Outlet tube varies also, some straight and some curved up and to the left.
I guess one adapts and MOPAR uses what's in inventory at the time of build. A/T lines are modified to accommodate radiator. I would think A/T p/n's would vary also
Thoughts...? Comments...? Innuendos...?
Great forum, great people, great MOPAR experience.
