Do you have an old retired plumber nearby or a set of pipe taps? Thread one into the bushing and drive the tap and bushing out from the other side with a brass drift or old hammer handle used as a punch.

Yeah I do have a few pipe taps. I think up to 1". I'll have to try that.

Mrrandyj I believe that's his username on moparts makes very nice billet front servo, accumulators, and rear servos. I don't use anyone else's anymore. Quality parts.
I got his reverse wound front clutch spring and kickdown band strut for this job.
Clutch packs in front half of trans are done, have OD apart, new OD sprag I bought when I did my 46RE appears to be MIA. And the bushings appear to be "rounded" kind of hourglass shaped, definitely gonna put the new ones I have in although getting some of the old ones out and new ones in w/o damage might be a bit of a challenge without buying a whole lot of special "drivers".

Make sure you put the OD overrunning clutch in the correct way. It can be installed upside down! You won't figure it out until you don't have overdrive and have pulled your hair out trying to find out WHY!

Taper the end of the appropriate size bolt and cut a few slots in it to make it tap into the bushing. Grab it with your slide hammer and remove the old bushing. After installing the new bushings check sizing with the mating part to make sure you didn't roll the edge during installation. Judicious use of a file might be in order if you do roll one.
