I have my A833 (1966 Barracuda) apart and will be getting the rebuild kit form Brewers or Passon. With it apart I am not seeing as much wear as I would have expected from reading Passon's book as the car has 235K miles. Clearly I am replacing the synchros, but would like comments on the rest of the gear train below.

Input shaft where 4th gear stop ring bears, the 4th gear stop ring, outside and in. Wear on the stop ring teeth, but no evidence of it bottoming out, correct?

Aside from deglazing the forcing cones and replacing the synchros (stop rings) are any of those gears or sliders suspect?

When you throw out a question into the wind figuring you'll have to sort the wheat from the chafff in answers and then "THE guy" replies.... THANKS!
