Anyone replaced the bearing in the ac clutch or should I just buy a reman clutch unit

Hi,
If you're talking about an RV type compressor, replacing the clutch bearing isn't a bad job. Replacement bearings are getting harder to find and pricey though. The factory service manual will show you how. You'll need a special puller tool to get a Warner clutch apart. You can make one based on the picture in the manual. The bearing is about one third the price of a reman. clutch.
