Accessory pulleys convert to non-AC

My '70 Duster originally came with A/C and power steering and the A/C didn't work when I got it. Sooo when I pulled my 318 I took out the compressor, lines, and as much other A/C stuff that I could and bought a non-A/C water pump pulley thinking that it would fit right on and I could re-route the belts to go (1) from the crank to the water pump to the alternator and (2) from the crank to the PS pump. Now I realized that the crank pulley on A/C cars was a larger diameter than non-A/C cars and the non-A/C water pump pulley won't fit. Is there a crank pulley I can get that will make this setup work and if there is will I have to modify the PS pump mounting so that the pulley groove lines up with the crank pulley groove?

EDIT: I know I also have to get a non-A/C alternator bracket.

The AC and non-AC cars use the same alternator brackets. The offsets of the pulleys changed from 1969 to 1970. The earlier pulleys used a different offset.

After a lot of mocking-up and research I found that for some reason the two-groove crank pulley I have needs to be moved about 1/2" away from the damper to line up the way it's supposed to (Inner groove driving water pump/alternator, outside driving PS pump). Were LA dampers made in more than one thickness and did the pulleys have different depths?

Anybody? I have no idea what to do for this and I've been waiting for a couple days for a recommendation. Should I try to make a spacer, or are there different-depth pulleys that I should look for, or should I try to change my PS mounting brackets? Other than this my Duster is running fine so it would be nice if I could get it figured out once and for all.
