I'm considering installing either a Turbo action cheetah, or a PPP (http://www.precisionperformance.com/) shifter in my 67 Barracuda. It has (or will have) a 727 out of a truck. Has anybody installed either of these "mated" with the stock center console?

I just installed a pro ratchet in my 67 barracuda and it fit great
I built a new backing plate , didnt have to cut the console at all
your shifter is a bunch bigger though
good luck

A couple of questions. Do you have a pic of your setup? Do you have headers? I don't know from personal experience, but the reason I asked about the Cheetah and the PPP is that they are rear exit and don't have the cable melting problems associated with the front exit shifters. Thanks!

PPP make a front and a rear exit shifter.
