The Rev. Al Sharpton held a press conference today to blast Tiger Woods for the lack of diversity among his mistresses. Sharpton claims that the lack of African-American women among Woods' harem will have a negative affect on the black community, specifically young black girls.

"Why is it that a man who calls himself black can't bring himself to cheat on his wife with a black woman?" said Sharpton, speaking to a group of supporters in Harlem. ""What does it say to young black girls everywhere when you pass them over? Shame on you, Tiger Woods. What would your daddy say?

Sharpton, who has long championed taking black women as mistresses, said that today''s black athletes need to stop neglecting black women when it comes to extramarital affairs, and should follow the examples of positive black role models such as Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King, Jr., both of whom cheated on their wives with black women. Sharpton also stressed that cheating with African-American women would help the black community financially by giving black girls the chance to sell their stories to tabloids and gossip magazines.

Added Sharpton, "I'm not asking you to not cheat on your wives, I''m just asking you to give back to your own community."

this Tiger letter is fake, but the Tawana Brawley debacle was true, a true fabrication by brawley & Sharpton, et al.

Its on www.snopes.com. No, its not true but still funny. It is however believable the way he is ALWAYS playing the race card.

Sharpton's a crybaby douchebag of the highest caliber (along with Jackson). I agree with always playing the race card. I worked with a guy from Jamaica in high tech for years. Whenever he didn't get his way or didn't agree with others, out of nowhere came the race card.

So now to shut those types up. US has a black President. Highest paid woman = Oprah (also black). I think Tiger Woods was up there as far as revenue generating. So how anyone can play the race card anymore? :dontknow:

FWIW, I'm in Canada and don't have slaves. Neither did my dad, my grandfather, great grandfather or great, great grandfather. Another guy I worked who was into history with would bring up the fact that the white man didn't invent slavery. Something about the Egyptians in the bible having slaves and the fact that Egypt is in Africa!

Funny as heck, but not any truer than the funny pic of President Obama shining Palin's shoes.

He really is a good guy and we should not get on his case just because of this statement.

Not "reverend" Al............I'm talking about blue73duster!

Sorry for the confusion there.

I didnt loose respect for Al. I never had it it in the first place! Nor Jesse! Respect is gained.

I lost mine the first time he opened his mouth.

Ask the Duke Lacrosse players what they think of him.

I found it particulary interesting that neither of these 2 could be found when Serena Williams went on her tirade, threatening to "shove a ball down the line judges @#$%^&*ing throat:"

They come out only at the "right" times.

There was something else around the time of Serena, where they were notably absent.

Look how Sharpton came out of the woodwork when Don Imus said nappy headed ho's. Imus should have used the n-word and really give him something to cry about.

They (James and Sharpton) are attention mongers who show up and whine at any percieved slight.
If they truly had the best interest of equality at heart, they would also chastize those that who act in a way that is detrimental to their cause.
Instead of having a whine fest, how about a little corrective action against those who undermine the respect they so aggressively fight for?
