3 days ago I ordered a fully automatic OD and lockup kit for my A500OD, and the site said "We will send a Paypal invoice to your email address for your order, so please pay the invoice as soon as possible" or something along that line.
The next day I still had not gotten the invoice so I emailed them asking about it.
Here it is 3 days later and now a weekend and not a damn word from them.
No invoice and no email.

I don't understand how people can do business this way.
Today I'm looking up the individual parts and I'll just build it myself and they can KMA.
It'll cost less if I get the individual parts anyway, and even with their kit I would still have to assemble it all so whatever.

(yes I made sure the email didn't get caught in a spam filter):D

When I get asked for an invoice, it becomes priority #1 LOL

If someone wants to throw money at me... make it rain. :)

Is KMA like :p ?

Kidding.....sorry to hear about trouble getting parts when you need them NOW !!!

Maybe a little like that, sorta, kinda. :D

If they keep it up it's going to force me to build a better product.
Like being able to set the shift points from the drivers seat instead of under the hood or down on the trans.

Actually even if I do end up ever getting their kit I still may mod it to do that.
It's be easy enough to change once I have the parts.

I send lots of PayPal invoices, and I wish I didn't have to; everything about their website sucks -- it fights the user every step of the way. PayPal keeps on helpfully "fixing" stuff that wasn't broken and breaking stuff that was working just fine in their ongoing effort to provide optimal user experience (or effing whatever). I wish a better payment service would gain some traction!

What this has to do with your post: it's possible they haven't yet sent you an invoice. But if my own experience is a guide, it's also possible they hit "Send" and PayPal helpfully decided they didn't mean to -- I have had the PayPal site go through all the motions including "Your invoice has been sent", without sending an invoice at all. Their tech support is just as useless as their site.

Knowing how it might have gotten screwed up doesn't make me feel any better somehow. :D
Still doesn't explain sending them an emails two days ago asking if they got the order and getting no response.
But thanks for the possible explanation Dan.

Can't help but wonder what kind of deal my buddy in AJ would give you....

Thanks Doug.
If you can ask would need two adjustable oil pressure switches from 0-50 pounds that make contact at the set pressure.
These would turn on 4th and OD at the adjusted pressures.
Also I need an adjustable vacuum switch like GM's use for lockup and OD disengage.

Say at 40 mph it would turn on 4th gear, but only if the engine vacuum is at or higher than what the vacuum switch is set for. (otherwise it disables fourth and OD both like if you were at full throttle with a regular 3 speed auto.)
The same with OD but it's pressure switch would be set at 50.

With this A500OD it will shift 1-2-3 like the 904 and then at 40 with light throttle it would go into fourth and then 5-10mph after that it would go into converter lockup.
The vac switch would make it kick out of fourth and OD like the TP does for the first three gears when the kickdownis used, and the pressure switches would keep them off if below a certain trans pressure.

A lot to ask I know, and I do appreciate it.

It'd be a lot easier if the people would just follow through with sending the kit, but I am getting ready for it if they don't. :D

The kit that comes with all this is about 85 bucks and if I look up the parts one by one it comes out to about 150.

Did you log into your PayPal account and see if it shows up there? I used to use Yahoo mail and started having problems receiving my e-mails from them and they weren't going into the spam box.

Yep, Paypal and bank account both and no indication of the payment leaving either one.
And again before I replied, but it is the weekend.
If they don't invoice or answer that email by mid day Monday I'm going to call them and find out what the deal is.

That is frustrating. Did you have any luck today?

No, and now they can KMA.
I'm going to be using adjustable switches and that will top their kit anyway. :D
They were shipped today and I should have them before next weekend.
I'm on the move man, and I ain't standin around for no one. :D
The timing cover is being held with a few bolts to keep it in place until the sealer sets, and then I'll do the water pump and brackets for everything.

Nice brotha,.You do,what you gotta do.. Bad service, and lack if response, is so fu*King annoying... Dealt with Herbert cams,on stuff like this. Whizzed me off,to no end.

So 5 days later they replied to my email about the switches asking if I had gotten an invoice yet.
I typed Fu,,,,Go,,,,, and then backed it out and said It's 5 days after I placed the order and was supposed to be invoiced via Paypal and waited for days but it never happened, so now I have had to make different plans and I don't need anything from them any longer.

If they were like that about taking my money it makes me wonder what it would have been like to actually get them once I paid them.
Something was looking out for me and also made me design a better product than they have anyway. :D
Ordered the switches from Summit night before last and they are here already.
