Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike, just got another 72 Duster that im hoping to make my final and long term project. lil background. back when i was say 18 (2001ish) when me and my pops were looking for a car for me to get. Stumbled across my first 72 Duster and fell in love. almost exactly a year after i got it i was hit in the right rear 1/4 panel by someone with no license, insurance and a fake id. i got a lawyer and all that but we couldnt get anything out of it. so we parked it at home and i got another car. we started to rebuild it but at that time there wasnt replacement 1/4 panels and stuff like there is now. had the 318 built started collecting other parts for it but it just made me depressed seeing it sitting there so i sold it. went through a bunch of other cars and brands but always wanted another 72 Duster. always kinda kept a look out for them and in 2016 i found another 72 for cheap. this one was a slant 6 though. while towing it home i was in my daily driver with the tow truck following me and traffic came to a stop fast and i got sandwiched in my daily. got the duster home and running and all but because of the accident and just buying the duster i didnt have money so has to sell that one too. skip to september 2025 and i just bought another one form a tow yard for a decent price. needs a lot of work but im ok with it. just picked up a 2017 srt charger 392 and 8hp70 trans thatll be goin into this one. so ill probably be on here bugging and stuff. ive been out of these cars soo long and never really got to dig into them when i did have them.
