Hi all....going to start doing basic body panel repair and replacing. For the average home garage, do I really need a 200-250CFT bottle for 75/25 mix? Opinions?? Thanks.
I personally have an 80cf bottle for my mig setup and a 125cf for the tig. I see no reason to have a 250cf bottle for home use unless you live really far from a refill facility or you plan on doing alot of welding in a short amount of time. I would recommend turning the bottle off when not using it as to not waste any from small leaks.Hi all....going to start doing basic body panel repair and replacing. crap, i paid $67 a couple weeks agoIt just cost me $145 to fill my 80...I was in shock...
I lent my mig to my buddy. It had a big bottle of gold. He had it quite awhile. Came back with a small bottle. He said it didn’t cost anything to exchange it. He said they didn’t have a big bottle and he really wouldn’t need that size anyways. Ofcourse this was 2 months b4 he brought it back. Now I screwed and pissed. They want $400.00 for a big bottle. I told them I want mine back. I told my buddy that if I don’t get a big bottle back that he has to buy 1 for me. Kim
