I have new arp bolts for my flexplate, and was just going to use loctite on them, like normal practice, but ARP says to lube them with their lube or 30 weight oil, and then torque to such and such, depending on which lube

so no loctite????????

i've always used loctite, as instructed by any instruction referencing such bolts.....

i assume to just use oil and ARP torque specs....to what do i torque 3/8 coarse thread TC bolts??( B&M flexplate and TC have 3/8 holes...why?? I HAVE NO IDEA)

Mine have 7/16 fine ARP bolts in my converter. I loctite mine . On my old race car I didn't loctoite them , and they used to come loose. I use the blue loctite, and they don't come loose. I would call ARP and ask them , tell them , that they are the torque converter bolts, and see what they say. But on mine, I would put BLUE loctite on the threads!!

Have always used loctite on my flexplate and converter bolts with no problems at all.

forget the oil bit (thats for accurate torque) loc tite the suckers and dont worry about them
