I have a friend that has an open trailer from S.E. Missouri and will be heading out to California in the next week or so. If anyone needs anything transported, let me know and I will get you in contact with him.

Way to go GTX. There should be more of this type of stepping up and making such trips known. Will he be coming back this way empty or will he be loaded coming back east? What's the dates? If we know we can work on a deal. What route will he be taking?

I agree. I think more people would post these opportunities if there was a designated area for them. I requested a transport section a few months ago but don't think it was deemed worthwhile:

As for the trip, he is going to be coming back (East) loaded. The exact dates are up in the air but he could go within a week or if need be, 2-3 weeks. I know that he would like to haul something out to help pay for gas. He said he would like to take the northern route through Reno but said that he would also take the southern route into SoCal as well.
I have a rear axle I need picked up in Phoenix. Doubt he'd head that way when going to your place. Bummer.

There is still an open trailer coming from SE Missouri out to CA (either NorCal or SoCal). My friend (who transports cars for a living) is bringing his personal trailer out and this may be a good opportunity to have a pro move your car for a very reasonable price. Let me know if you are interested and I will pass his info along to you. TIA.
Did you get your axle picked up yet? If not, would be happy to pick up and store inside until add'l arrangements could be made. PM if needed.

It's inside at a friends garage at the moment. hotwheelsjr helped me out with storing until I got there our it was picked up.
I don't know where in CA you are, but there is a guy here in PHX that does transport from here to Southern CA once a week or so. He could probably add it to his transport.....Just a thought...:happy10:
