Is there an adaptor that I can use to connect an autometer speedometer to a stock speedometer cable for my 74 Duster?

Thanks!

So, is it a mechanical speedo or electronic? If it's electronic you'll need a sender at the tranny which replaces the cable.

And if it is mechanical, yes there is a adapter. I bought a whole new cable with the proper ends from a guy on ebay, he makes them up. Tell him your size and the gauge your using and that is it...new cable.

I bought a cable from O'Reilly's - just ask for a cable for a '65 Dart. It's a screw-in cable that works perfectly and cheap. Mechanical gauge.

In my custom dash for my 65 wagon, I'm using a 160MPH VDO mechanical speedometer that's actually out of a Porsche. I sent the unit out for a cleaning and rehab (if necessary). The vendor made me a speedometer cable that fits the Porsche unit on one end and a standard Mopar thread on the other.

Yes it is mechanical. I have a brand new spedometer cable I bought but it appears I may need a new one, once again!

Where can I get the adapter, I would rather do that?

Thanks!
