Hi everybody,

don't know if i'm right here!?

My tech question:
I got a 8 3/4 B-body axle for my 65 Valiant cause 8 3/4 A-body axles are very rare in Germany8)
So i have tu cut off the both flanges, cut out two pieces (right and left) and weld in the flanges back.
So: who knows the stock overall lenght of a early A-body axle so that it will fit my Valiant?
And i will use 8 x 15 rims with 255/60 R15 tires. Whos knows what backspacing i need?

thx for infos

i beleive you can use it like it is with just moving the perches in to th a body dimension then just get the right backspacing on the wheel to compensate for the wider axle. i'm sure someone who has done it will chime in to help

stick it in with a new set of perches set the pinion angle and buy a set of rims to fit.
