As far as I know the driver survived (otherwise I wouldn't have posted these), and according to the in-dash camera it appears that he tried to avoid a head-on coming from the other direction.

That kind of scenario is always in the back of my mind any time I run a two lane highway, which is nearly every day.
Truly hope the driver is unhurt, but I would expect there will be some mental trauma from the experience.

When it's windy in central Illinois on I57 I hit the outer bump line to and from work. Especially when next to the double trailer loads. When it's calm I cuddle up close to them to grab the F.M. signal better. It never fails I start to lose the local classic rock station about 5 miles from work. I missed the last half of Kansas Carry on Wayward Son last week and the end of Heart's Barracuda Wednesday. That was a real bummer. Luckily, that same Wednesday morning I caught Tuesday's Gone with the Wind...(no pun intended) Lynyrd Skynyrd on my number 2 station.

And it can happen in broad daylight with unlimited vision as well.
I posted stills from my truck dash cam a while back.

The two oncoming trucks are stopped, waiting for me to pass so they can turn left.
At 55-60 mph I was surprised my boat trailer wheel wasn't clipped by this yoyo on a Missouri two lane. Fortunately for us, the shoulder was paved......
