What is the difference between 383 and 340 transmission lines, I’m thinking they should be the same.

Since it's BB vs SB, the routing will be slightly different between the two. The factory bends are meant to keep them as close to the block and out of the way as possible.
Check resources such as Inline Tube- two different part numbers. Does that mean that one can't be used for the other? Maybe with a bit of creative re-bending...
