Best way to check if Thermostat is opening?

Usually the radiator hose will go from cool to warm/hot when it opens

Yea, thought about that. Took her for a ride this morning. Intake went up to around 200*- think top hose was about 185* bottom hose much cooler. Noticed what appears to be a little evidence of the water pump weep hole leaking out a little at some point. Don't see any leaks now. It's not flowing properly

If u don’t think the W/P is flowing properly take the heater hose off at the core and put it in a bucket. Start the car and see how much flow u have. Should be a good steady stream. Kim
